How to believe in God for yourself

Why is it so hard for me to believe in God for myself? Believing in God for others is not difficult for me! It’s actually exciting! But believing in God for myself? Well... that’s very difficult personally, simply because I know my track record and if you knew it you probably would feel the same. Knowing my history, my limitations and mistakes I feel undeserving and you may feel this way too. But there’s this concept of “loving your neighbor as yourself”. Which means if you don’t love yourself well you can’t love others well! Which also means that you are just as important as everyone else! 

Here’s the bottom line

Today believe in God for yourself too, your goals, for strength or whatever you need or want. Because you’re just as important as everyone else!
